Weird Sketch Wednesdays

Here's a nice page of weird sketches torn from one of my sketchbooks. This is what a sketchbook is all about. This page is full of creative energy; lots of random ideas, crudely drawn. Any one of these little drawings could inspire an idea for a comic strip or a story or an illustration. When I was in high school and college, my notebooks were full of drawings just like this. Whenever a lecture got boring, I would start sketching in the margins. This annoyed my teachers and they thought I was goofing off. But somehow, I always managed to doodle AND take really good notes at the same time. I think it's a skill most cartoonists learn to perfect.
