I recently participated in The Art House Co-Op Limited Edition Sketchbook Project. The Sketchbook Project Limited Edition Vol. 1 is a collaborative series of art books created by 5000 artists from around the world. Once I filled out the entry form and paid my fee, the Art House Co-Op mailed me a blank sketchbook. I had to fill the entire sketchbook with artwork and return it on or before April 30, 2012.
Each blank sketchbook had a theme. My theme was "The Science of Story." There were no rules for this project. Participants were allowed to draw whatever they wish regardless of the supplied theme. The medium was up to the artist. Some participants filled their sketchbooks with photography; others painted. I chose to draw a series of autobiographical journal comics. I drew them digitally on my Cintiq. Once I printed the finished pages, I removed the blank pages from the supplied sketchbook and replaced them with my printed pages.

I'll be posting a few pages each day for your reading enjoyment. The photo was taken by photographer Jared Navarre.
Great project, Brad! I really enjoyed reading through all your posts. You kept saying it was boring, but since we're into the same stuff, I thought it was great. Nice work!
