At first, I intended Boswald to be a fresh water bass. But as I was developing the strip, I realized that making him a fresh water fish was too limiting. I wanted to draw all kinds of underwater creatures that are native to salt water environments. In the end, I decided to make Boswald a sea bass. Problem solved.

Under the Sea
At first, I intended Boswald to be a fresh water bass. But as I was developing the strip, I realized that making him a fresh water fish was too limiting. I wanted to draw all kinds of underwater creatures that are native to salt water environments. In the end, I decided to make Boswald a sea bass. Problem solved.

I like how the word balloons look all underwatery
ReplyDeleteYeah. The word balloons are fun. I eventually stopped doing that wavy effect and switched to regular balloons. It was a good idea though.
