The Spider-Ham version of the villains are: Dr. Octopuss, Canaryage, Hobgobbler, Cardiyak and Venomongrel. 

 

Cardiyak, Canaryage and Venomongrel are my own original Spider-Ham villains. They weren't part of the original Spider-Ham universe.

24 Hour Comic 2011: God Bless America

Here's page 17 of my 24 Hour comic in which I heap endless fanboy praise upon my favorite movie of the summer, Captain America. After the REALLY BAD 90s MOVIE and the HORRIBLE 70s TV MOVIE, I was nervous that the new Cap movie would be less than stellar. Marvel Studios obliterated all of my worries by producing the best superhero movie of the year. Chris Evans nailed his performance of Steve Rogers. The costume, the Red Skull, the action: it was all perfect. Captain America, I salute you.

24 Hour Comic 2011: Thor, Geek of Thunder

Here's page 16 of my 24 Hour comic in which I gush about the movie Thor. The movie was fantastic. It was the first big superhero movie of the summer and Marvel Studios nailed it. I loved everything about this movie. You can see the Roofus Thor drawing from panel 2 HERE.

24 Hour Comic 2011: X-Geek

Here's page 15 of my 24 Hour comic in which I review X-Men First Class. I also did not like some of the special effects in the movie. I thought they looked cheesy and unfinished. It was very cool that the entire movie was set in the 60s making it a period piece.

Journal Comics: April 5, 2011

This journal comic was a rant against the upcoming Governator cartoon from Schwarzenegger and Stan Lee. Don't get me wrong. I love Stan Lee. He wrote some of the greatest comic book stories ever told. But, seriously, Stan (I'm talking directly to you, Stan)...hang it up, man. You're not gonna top Spider-Man. You're not gonna top the Hulk. You've outdone yourself, sir. On behalf of the comic book fanboy community, knock it off.

Marvel Gets Tronned

Disney owns Marvel Comics. As a promotional tie-in, Marvel recently featured Tron versions of the biggest Marvel characters on their comic covers. As a comic book fan, this makes me feel conflicted. On one hand, I have a serious problem with Disney co-opting my favorite comic books as an advertising platform for their latest movie. Where does it stop? Will Marvel feature "pirate" versions of all the Marvel characters when the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie comes out? Let's hope not.

On the other hand, they look pretty damn cool.
