I have fond memories of spending Thanksgiving morning watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I also have memories of various cable channels broadcasting marathons of The Waltons on Thanksgiving.
Creator Commentary: The unseen parade announcers in this strip are actually Adam West and William Shatner. Who wouldn't want to see these two TV icons hosting a Macy's parade?
